The goal of the Member Service Advisor is to build strong and lasting relationships with members and while providing them with solutions to their financial needs. In this role you will demonstrate a dedication to continuous improvement, a collaborative work style, and an ability to adapt to fast-paced change. You are motivated by providing genuine, remarkable member experiences every time. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow at Island Savings.
Here’s what would be included as a part of your typical day:
Greeting, recognizing, and serving walk in members to complete transactions including cash withdrawals, deposits, bill payments, foreign exchange and other transactions
Enhancing member relationships through promoting and cross-selling basic products and services such as MasterCards
Spotting opportunities where members would benefit from investment, lending, and insurance products and services and referring them to the expert that can best help them
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Enthusiastic and positive demeanor
High School diploma
Strong Numeracy Skills
Desire for a career in banking
Customer service experience
We're invested in our local communities. Our initiatives are far-reaching with a special focus on raising food, funds and awareness for our local food banks. We volunteer and employees can be provided with paid time off to volunteer their time to assist in serving an organization.
Availability to work on Saturdays and shift flexibility is required.
